You're sprawled on her ratty couch, one leg dangling off the edge, stimming with a tangle toy. She's upside down in an armchair, rattling off obscure facts about deep sea creatures.

Neither of you has masked in hours. Your laugh is too loud, your gestures too big. You've been talking about the same topic for 45 minutes. It's glorious.

There's no need to tone it down, to be "appropriate." Your weirdness dovetails perfectly with hers. When you flap your hands in excitement, she grins and flaps back.

In a world that often feels too bright, too loud, too much, she's your safe harbour. With her, you're not "too" anything. You're just beautifully, brilliantly you.

Studies & Sketchbook

From capturing ideas and colour palettes to swatching new materials, honing my skills, and experimenting, my sketchbooks are the backbone of my creative practice.

They’re what I reach for between collections to keep my skills sharp and play with new ideas. They’re where I go when I need to create but don't have the time or energy to work on a final piece. They’re my special place to make mistakes, try new things, and generally make a glorious mess.

After sharing some sketchbook tours on YouTube, I was touched by how many viewers connected with this aspect of my creative process. As print requests poured in, I knew I had to listen. What started as private play in my sketchbook has now been transformed into these beautiful prints I'm delighted to share with you.
