Defend Your Own Joy
Defend Your Own Joy
She stared at her reflection, a riot of electric blue framing her face. It wasn't just hair dye – it was a tiny, glorious revolution.
For years, she'd been a people-pleasing chameleon, a ‘yes-person’. Always hiding in the shadows, and blending into others' expectations. But this vibrant change? It lit a spark. Suddenly, she wasn't just visible - she was undeniable.
"No" became her new favorite word. She wielded it like a glittery lightsaber, slicing through bullshit and carving out space for her own desires.
Who knew hair could be a superhero cape? But there she was, Captain Boundaries, defender of her own damn joy.
Utterly, deliciously, rebelliously blue.

Studies & Sketchbook
From capturing ideas and colour palettes to swatching new materials, honing my skills, and experimenting, my sketchbooks are the backbone of my creative practice.
They’re what I reach for between collections to keep my skills sharp and play with new ideas. They’re where I go when I need to create but don't have the time or energy to work on a final piece. They’re my special place to make mistakes, try new things, and generally make a glorious mess.
After sharing some sketchbook tours on YouTube, I was touched by how many viewers connected with this aspect of my creative process. As print requests poured in, I knew I had to listen. What started as private play in my sketchbook has now been transformed into these beautiful prints I'm delighted to share with you.
